Increase Image Size to 300KB

Pad an image to exactly 300KB when a form needs more than you have.

KB
Advanced (optional): exact pixels or minimum KB

Many forms ask for pixels as well as KB. Leave empty if yours does not. Examples are common sizes only – always use the size your form states.

A larger floor

At 300KB the floor starts to imply real resolution. Padding will meet the number, but if the portal also checks the dimensions or runs a legibility check, a file of 100KB padded to 300KB can still fail those checks. Use the real original wherever you can.

Example. You have a 140KB photo of a signed form and the portal needs at least 300KB. If you still have the 4 MB original, compress that to 300KB with the 300KB page for a genuinely sharper result.

When padding is the right tool

  • The original is lost and only a small copy remains.
  • The picture is already clear and only the number is the problem.

Common slips

  • Padding and then editing the file again, which re-encodes it and removes the padding.
  • Expecting the portal to display a bigger picture. Display size depends on pixels, not bytes.

One target per run

The tool applies a single KB target to everything you select. If your photo needs 300KB and your ID scan needs a different size, run them in two rounds instead of one batch. Padding to 300KB means 307,200 bytes per file, so five files add up to about 1.5 MB once unzipped, even if the ZIP itself downloads smaller. Check any total upload limit on the form before you select them all.
