About CompressPicOnline
CompressPicOnline is a free image compression tool built for students, creators, developers and everyday users who need smaller photos fast. Many online tools upload your pictures to a server, limit batch size or add watermarks. I built a faster, more private alternative.
Who is behind this site
Hi, I am Yasir, an independent developer based in Lahore, Pakistan. I built CompressPicOnline as a free tool after seeing how often students and job applicants struggle with photo size limits on forms and portals. CompressPicOnline launched in October 2026, so it is a young site. I run it myself and publish its guides under my name.
Our approach
All compression runs inside your own browser using HTML5 Canvas, so your photos are never sent to us. You can process many images at once and download them in a single ZIP.
What we publish
Besides the tool, we write practical guides on image sizes, formats and web performance. The tool is free to use. I plan to cover running costs with advertising such as Google AdSense once the site is approved, and I want the pages to stay clean and fast.
Why we built it
Many people only need to make a photo smaller once or twice a month: for a visa form, a job application, a school portal or a shop listing. Yet they are asked to upload private pictures to unknown servers, sit through queues or create accounts. We wanted a tool that simply works, respects privacy and costs nothing to use.
How we keep the tool free
The site has no paid plans or accounts. If ads are shown, they will sit beside the tool and never replace or hide it. Your images are processed in your browser, so there is nothing for me to sell.
Our commitments
- No watermarks, no signup and no daily limits.
- Your images are processed on your device and never stored by us.
- If you report a mistake in a guide or a problem with the tool, I will look into it.
