This Privacy Policy explains how CompressPicOnline (compresspiconline.com) handles information when you use our website and image compression tools.
1. Your images
Images you select are processed locally in your browser. The image files are not uploaded to our servers for compression, and we do not store, view or share the image content you process with the tool.
2. Information we may receive
Our hosting provider may process standard technical information needed to deliver the website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages and timestamps. We do not ask you to create an account to use the compressor.
3. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and how often the compress button is used. Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar identifiers and receives technical information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and your IP address. We do not send your images, file names or image content to Google Analytics, because images are processed only inside your browser. When you first visit, a cookie notice lets you accept or decline analytics and personalised advertising. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland these cookies stay off until you accept. Your choice is stored only in your own browser (local storage) and you can change it at any time with the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.
4. Advertising, Google AdSense and Monetag
This website displays ads served by third-party advertising networks, including Monetag. We may also use Google AdSense in future, and this policy will be updated before that happens. CompressPicOnline is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Our guides may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content or security of websites operated by third parties.
8. Data security
We use reasonable measures to protect information handled through the website. Because the compressor processes images in your browser, the image content itself is not sent to our server for compression.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technologies or legal requirements change. The latest version and its update date will always be shown on this page.
