About the 10KB image
A 10KB limit is rare, but it still appears on older government and bank portals for tiny signatures, stamp-size photos and profile icons. At this size the tool first lowers JPG quality, then shrinks the pixel dimensions automatically until the file fits.

What to expect at 10KB
A full phone photo cannot keep its original dimensions at 10KB. Expect the picture to end up a couple of hundred pixels wide. That is fine for a small slot on screen but not for printing. If the form also states exact pixel dimensions, resize the photo first, then run it here.

Can a normal phone photo really be 10KB?
Yes, but only after it is made much smaller in pixels. A 12-megapixel photo squeezed to 10KB by quality alone would be unreadable, so the tool shrinks the dimensions as well and keeps the result clear.
Which images compress best to 10KB?
Signatures, logos, scanned text and plain backgrounds. Busy photos with grass, hair or patterned clothing need more pixels removed to reach the same size.
My result shows 9.4 KB, not exactly 10 KB. Why?
In compress mode the tool lands just under your limit, never over it. Any form that says maximum 10KB accepts a file a little below. If you need exactly 10KB, switch to Increase mode.
